About the Role:
As a flexible Trade Counter Manager, you will inherit a significant customer base of Commercial Flooring Contractors, Shop Fitters, and Construction Project Managers. As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects – spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers.
If you were already in this Trade Counter Manager role, here are some areas you might have been working in this week:
- Managing your Trade Counter and delivering monthly sales/profitability/pricing/margin and cost
- Building relationships with new and existing customers
- Cleverly utilising technical knowledge and solution selling to introduce customers to new products and ranges and drive incremental sales
- Managing customer pricing quotations and terms to reflect the complexity of products, price points, volumes, and credit terms
Requirements:
To apply for this Trade Counter Manager role, you will need to be a proven Sales/Account Manager who shares the company's passion for the construction, fit-out, and refurbishment markets. You will also require the following:
- Sales and account management success in a B2B sales environment
- An impressive track record of driving sales via a consultative-selling approach
- People Management experience
- Good organisation skills and experience working with CRM or similar systems
- A full, clean Driving Licence
